Buyer Beware: Trapped in a Chatbot Loop with Broken Glasses 🤖🛑
I'm writing this as a warning to others. My terrible online shopping experience should serve a cautionary purpose. Honestly, this is "not a good online eyeglass company, I should have read reviews before purchasing. There is no customer support, it's just an AI chatbot that you go in circles with… You call the number provided which is supposedly a 'Customer Support Team' which is 100% automated with no way to speak with an actual human." My glasses, which were of horrible quality, conveniently broke within 17 days—just three days past the warranty. After being stuck in an endless automated loop, I was determined to speak with a person, which prompted my call.
Customer: I've been trying to reach a human for days! Your chatbot is useless, and your phone line just sends me back to the bot. My glasses broke after only 17 days!
CS Rep: I am very sorry to hear about your frustrating experience and the issue with your glasses. I can certainly understand your anger. Can I get your order number to look into this?
Customer: It's [Order Number]. And don't just tell me it's three days past the 14-day warranty. It's ridiculous for glasses to last less than a month. Your company's only solution is to suggest I "purchase another pair"? That's insulting.
