I found myself utterly frustrated when a promised promotion simply wouldn't apply, and it felt like the site was full of glitches, making it impossible to collect the offer. This company proved to be dishonest, they don't honor promos, and their customer service is non-existent when you truly need help. I felt compelled to reach out to customer service to demand the promotion I was owed, but their proposed "solution" was baffling and unfair, pushing me to leave this review for others.
Customer: I'm calling because I can't get the buy-one-get-one promotion to apply on your website. I’ve tried multiple times, and it seems like there are glitches preventing it from working. CS Rep: I apologize for the difficulty you're experiencing with the promotion. Can you please provide your order number or the email associated with your account so I can look into this for you? Customer: I haven't completed the order because the promo won't apply! And frankly, your website glitches are making it impossible. This is incredibly unprofessional. CS Rep: I understand your frustration. Our system shows the promotional code should be active. Sometimes a browser cache clear or using a different browser can resolve display issues. Customer: I've done all of that. What's the point of a promo if your site won't honor it? And your solution to this mess, which you admitted was messed up, was for me to return the glasses I haven't even received yet and reorder them? Even though the style and prescription are correct? Why can't you just credit the difference back to my card? That's too easy, I guess. CS Rep: I apologize that our previous proposed solution wasn't satisfactory. Our standard procedure for promotion application issues after an order is placed typically involves a return and reorder to ensure the correct pricing structure.
